Since my last post I wanted to let you know my son agreed to take the Nal every morning with his vitamins and other meds. That was short lived because he says that the Nal makes him feel like his head is in a vise. Needless to say he does not want to take it all now. I thought I would suggest him taking less than the 50 mg, but my true and honest feeling is he isn’t ready to give up drinking and does not want anything to interfere with it, including me. I must now step back and let him figure this out on his own. Good luck to you all. I really hope this works for you.

Stepping back is one of the most painful parts of being a good mom. You are a great mom. Taking care of yourself is one of the most important things you can do for your son. No need to tell us goodbye. Please drop in from time to time and let us know how you're doing.
