So say I'm going to be on boat for 12 hours, and am going to be drinking the whole time. Does the one 50mg dose one hour before I start drinking cover me, or should I take another dose at some point? If so, then when?

Glad you got NAL and are on the way .
The 50 mg will do adequately for 12H . But if you drink round the clock more so 24H some take another one .
Out of Dubai and onto the drinking boat ?

Zman - I'd agree...if your stomach can handle it, I would take one in the morning and one in the evening. If you are just starting and are worried about nausea, perhaps try splitting the pill and again, taking it more than once....is this your first week? I don't recall when / if you started already.

Zman, The protocol is 50 mg, each day you drink, one hour before you start drinking. There a very few persons who have changed up this standard dose. Fifty should be just fine if you drink past twelve hours only occasionally. Dr. E has suggested a second daily dose to someone who was a regular, 24/7 drinker.

But one gold mine of information is the FAQ's by Dr. Eskapa you will find on the board index. It's a real gold mine of information. Keep reading and learning.

At the same time, try not to overthink it. Just pop your nal an hour or so before you drink and in a few months we will add your name to the list.
