I would be shocked if brand difference has any impact whatsoever on our subjective response to naltrexone.
Recently, I read a very eye opening article about generic anti-depressants. I tried to find it just now, but couldn't with a quick google search.
In a nutshell, there are differences with generic drugs. Often, the patent holder for the original drug keeps the "formula" secret even after the patent expires. The generic drug companies have to essentially reverse-engineer the drug.
The article followed several people who had bad reactions/experiences with a generic anti-depressant (can't remember which on) and thought they had some kind of serious illness. Come to find out, a switch to the real deal or a different drug solved the problem.
I'm not saying generic NAL has any problems. Just pointing out that generic drugs can be different than the original.
