I am a grateful cured alcoholic and I am on a mission to tell the world about TSM. To that end, I created a blog called 'The Sinclair Method Works' --> http://tom4tsm.blogspot.com/. I have always felt it was important to spread the word outside of this message board and now that the cured list is growing, I think it is imperative that be done. There are quite a few articles and blogs that are negative and disparaging of TSM - we need to take them on. TSM / NALTREXONE is too important to let the 12 Step / Rehab industry take the lead. By spreading the facts about TSM, we can save families from breaking up, we can save children from being abused, we can keep drunk drivers off the road, we can save lives ! For the first time since 1984, the monkey is off my back. I am free and thrilled to be alive. I want every alcoholic to get to that place.

This is a FANTASTIC idea. Count me in. And yes, I agree with Lena, we should use this thread for brainstorming how to get the word out.

I just read the blog -- WELL DONE. You might also want to mention that you are not the only one cured, that there are people here declaring themselves cured every day, and maybe mention this site and include a link as a place to see firsthand evidence of the cure, our respective journeys, as well as a place to have questions answered from people who are very personally experienced with TSM. Just a thought.

As the first "cured one" to respond to your post, I too must say that I strongly desire that this method be spread worldwide so that thousands, if not millions of people can save their lives and those around them. Count me in!

However... what is the email authorization that you are requiring? I will remain anonymous as long as it suits me. The email submittal will reveal my identity and I do not choose to do this at this time. So, how do I support what I believe in and continue to be anonymous?

The email is only needed if you wanted the authority to create new posts on the blog. You can just respond to comments without divulging your identity. We can use this thread to brainstorm ways to get the word out.

Bob, surely you could set up an email address through hotmail or the like that can't be traced back to you?

I share Bob's concern, but have been meaning for awhile to start a separate email account w/ an an anonymous name for just such purposes. It just takews a sec to set up a gmail account w/ a new name. And if you haven't used gmail before, you'll get hooked on the features.

In fact, a separate email account with a name to match the name here is one way we could easily chat for those who want to.

I'm thinking of submitting an an abstract of a manuscript to the Redbook-type magazines. I may ask some of you for permission to share your anonymous stories, if you are willing to share your identity with the magazine fact checkers (you would not need to share it with me).
