Um, I'm no engineer, but Bob :ugeek: I guess I thought your graph would eventually show an asymptote rather than negative. Where is mabelee?

I had an asymptote and my Dr. gave me Naltrexone for it.

My apologies to Bob for any thread hijack.

I am one as well Bob. :) Interesting.

Looks like we are about to have a few things in common.

Mrs. 3d had some out-patient surgery yesterday, so I don't have too much time to read and post.

I did take the time to correct my graph to show an exponential decay curve instead of the controversial polynomial curve. It actually does fit pretty well. On next week's cute graph, I'll just show the raw data and the exponential curve and remove the linear approximation altogether.

Had 5 beers last night after a frustrating afternoon. I wanted to stop after 4, but I had a fifth one anyway. At least I stopped after the fifth one through the power of Naltrexone. So there's a lone soldier in the fridge tonight and it's going to stay alone for now. This week, every night I drink, the next morning I feel awful. No headache, but miserable. That feeling fades with the day, but then I don't get any desire to drink on that day. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Bob

Wow, this site is dominated by engineers -- who would have guessed it? Once again Bob, you are Exhibit A that we are all on a non-linear journey. The good news from my selfish perspective is that Eddie Haskell is still here; the other good news is that even though you continue to drink, you are doing so at low levels that appear to be in the safe range.

Signed,

Looking forward to more cute graphs sans polynomials

Yes. I'll never make the polynomial mistake again!

Tonight I had one single beer at 8:30PM just to see what that would be like. I can't remember the last time I had 1 drink and that's it. I feel relaxed and I am also looking forward to waking up fresh in the morning. It's like being sober! :D
