Hey Clay. Unfortunately I don't have the book in front of me but re-read the part about naltrexone and its potential impact on your liver. Off the top of my head, 50mg was about one-sixth of what it would take before it could negatively impact your liver. In other words, that concern is generally overblown. You could also search this site as I know other members have piped in that taking nal at 50mg will not impact the liver under ordinary circumstances. Bottom line, consult the book, but I'm pretty sure you have to take a huge amount of nal -- far more than we are taking -- for it to negatively impact your liver.

I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but it's at LEAST 3-4 months, and obviously much longer than that for me. It can be really frustrating, but you just have to believe and keep plugging away. It will happen! 8-)

Nal got stuck years ago with a "black box" liver warning due to one obesity study where five of twenty-six subjects getting 300 mg. showed elevated liver enzymes. (Eskapa, p. 216-217) That's FIVE TIMES the TSM dose. We have not had anyone report liver problems here that are attributable to naltrexone.
