Random, try waiting until you're experiencing an actual craving for alcohol, then take the Nal and wait an hour. Also, keep the drink out of sight so you're forced to get up and get a sip. Throw in little tasks, cruise the net, etc. between sips and give the part of your brain that's not all that fond of alcohol a chance to surface and vote on whether you want the next sip, whether you want it now, whether you want to continue drinking for the night, that sort of thing. Throwing the hard pause in there helps, you might even find you get lost in a task and eventually an hour or more goes by between sips.
