I know, I am a democrat, but I hate what the protesters are doing out there. I wish they would follow the patterns of Martin Luther King or Mahatma. Lead with respect and show a calm respect. I show my students how civil rights are demonstrated through the Woolworth sit inn or the walk on Selma. I think Trump people and the country would respect our sadness if we acted respectfully.
I can't believe he is adding his family to his transition team. God help us.

Yeah, this just seems to happen, a couple rounds of Democrats, then a couple with the Republicans at the helm.

Beyond that, how are you doing, Meggie?

How was the play, you are funny.
I am sitting here and it is 846 pm and I am on my third drink. I don't know what I call a drink, it is a splash or more, not a shot. I still have good days and some that could be better. I am assuming the Nal doesn't work. I still take the one pill. I am still getting scribed the one and half. I am storing the extras. I think by next appointment I will just tell the doc it doesn't work. I don't know where to go from here. I most likely should go back to counseling. I don't know, where is the future taking me.... retirement in June, a daughter's wedding in July and then I don't know.
I do know I want to go to Africa, but I don't want to carry a bottle of vodka.

Meggie, what size bottle do you buy and how long does it last you if you drink every day?

It's odd that you have trouble stopping after a couple at home, but if you're out and you have a drink, you don't feel compelled to drink more (did I get that right)?

No, I don't even start when I go out. I always drink soda or water. I buy the big bottle and it takes me about 11 days.

If that's what's referred to as a "handle" or 1.75 liters, then that would be about 3.6 standard drinks per night (think 3.6 12oz beers or 3.6 5oz glasses of wine). About 25 drinks per week. Not a huge amount, but I can see where you'd feel better by giving that routine a break.

From somebody that didn't drink at all in my 40's to 3 and half a day, it is a lot. As stated, I have moved my 7 pm time to 730 to 8 and 830 tonight. Joe, do you think it really makes a difference if I take a whole pill or a half a pill?

I don't know if it would make a difference for you, Meggie. You could try 25mg and see if you start creeping back to the old start time or start drinking more.

How's your blood pressure, btw?
