Ok, Dan. Low numbers followed by high numbers followed by low numbers is pretty much how it goes and how it went for me. This all looks good, Nal on!

What do you mean by 'this'? I'm in my 5th week and sometimes I still get really buzzed even on my first drink -- this confuses me as to what the nal is really doing if I'm not supposed to be getting joy from the drinking anymore... I'm a binge drinker and can easily have AF days but when drinking, I really find it hard to stop, even on the Nal. The first two weeks I didn't get any buzz but that quickly stopped. Still sometimes the first 1-2 drinks don't give me much of a buzz but the next do really give me a buzz so I continue until I'm drunk. Last night I had a bottle of wine and thank god there wasn't anything else in the house otherwise I would have drunk way more.

1 - 6
2 -6
3 -24
4-14
5 - 7.5 (so far)

My experience has been similar. I'm not sure what the mechanism really is or how it is supposed to feel. It seems to be different for everyone in the short term subjective experience. But what seems to be true for most people is that over the long term they end up in the same place.

What I mean is the numbers jump around a lot, generally moreso for binge drinkers. As you block the endorphins, your receptors will upregulate and reach out harder to find them. This is one reason why it's really important to keep to the One Hour Rule and to keep within the 12 hour window where the Nal will be blocking your receptors sufficiently. You may still feel an effect from alcohol, but Nal is blocking the addicted part of your brain's ability to "remember" that effect. Over a number of months, your drinking levels will drop off as that memory fades.
