Honestly, I'm not doing that great!! The honeymoon period is definitely over. I am noticing an INCREASE in cravings and consumption. I'm trying not to panic, from what I've read on here it can be common to have an uptick in weeks 3 - 4. It is also very clear to me that I cannot have wine in my house. I know that but made a bad choice last weekend. Anyway, its gone now.

So far this week I'm on-track to meet my pre-TSM levels of 40 units. Hoping to break that streak though as the week is young . . .

How are you focusing on mindfulness??

Branca - Sounds like you have done your homework and the title of your posts makes me think that you know what you are in for - which is an up and down adventure. Sounds like actiongirl is hitting a down right now but as long as both of you continue to follow the golden rule you will see improvement. When you slip up, try not get discouraged and certainly do not give up! This is a long process and when you look back at your results over time almost everyone has made great strides after several months on the program. Maybe not cured - but great strides never the less.

And I am certainly not a science geek, when I read the book I was excited because for once the cure was based on science more than faith or willpower.

stay the course and expect some ups and downs for a while. it's going to happen. but if you keep taking the Nal and trudge through, you'll likely have a breakthrough eventually. it's worth it! good luck!
