Hi everyone, just an update on what's going on with me.
I am at my wits end with every day feeling so bad after drinking, not remembering the night before and saying stupid things when drinking so I put my foot down and have now had 3 AF days in a row and really think I need to go the abstinence route as I still can't put the brakes on when I drink as I usually go for 1 1/2 bottles of wine where I swear to myself I will stop at 1, ughhh!
I am also cutting out alcohol and sugar right now to hopefully lose some weight and maybe without sugar it will cut my cravings for alcohol.
I really need to force AF days to know how to get by each day without this alcoholic crutch.
Nal On my friends!

I understand entirely, Cheeto. Perhaps if you go AF for a few days, then you can hit your next drinking day with 100mg to see if that has an impact.

If you'd rather dry out entirely for a spell, you can start Campral after a week, takes a couple of weeks to kick in (as I understand it). You take it a few times a day and it kills the cravings.

Day 5 AF, not really as easy as it should be but not as hard as it was ages ago going AF so that's good news!
I still feel a bit like I am missing out at 5PM hopefully that will dissipate.
Nal On!!!

Hi Joe, I'm shooting for the rest of this week cause I don't want to white knuckle it but I need to get some AF days under my belt each week. So that would be 7 in a row which I have not done in a long, long time!
Thanks Joe and Maggie I saw your response for me on Snap's thread. Hope you both and everyone else is doing great.
Will keep you all updated on my AF days. Thanks again for your support guys!
Nal ON!

Cheeto: I'm so proud of you that you are able to do that many AF days in a row. Those are still a challenge for me. Sorry that your progress has not been what you wanted. All of us are so different. xoxo Newlife

Daily drinking is still high and I find that I am getting drunk easier on less alcohol and am having lots of blackouts. I usually could drink
1 1/2 bottles of wine no problem but after 1 bottle I get really tired and fall asleep on the couch or go to bed by at least 8PM???
Maybe I am one of the people TSM will not work for but I am sticking with it as I have already put so much time into TSM.
