Hey Guys,

Thanks for the support.

Did not know that 12.5 of Nal works. I may give that a try. Thanks

Careful. I went down the 12.5 rabbit hole. Didn't work. You know how sneaky your brain is. How desirous of alcohol. Leave one receptor uncovered and your brain will never stop fighting you for alcohol.

Play it safe.

Take 50.

To me everyone sounds cured on this thread!
Well done and thanks for coming back and letting us know.
It sounds like alcohol does not control you anymore and the problems that you were having because of alcohol have gone away. If TSM allows us to drink like normal people I think that's pretty awesome.

I am also coming up on my first year and considered myself a work in progress but definitely altered in a much better way. So many successes in just a short year - with very little effort on my part. No meetings, no therapy, etc. I am probably one of those who will never be "cured" if cured means never drinking again. But if you ask me, I am on the 80% side of the equation because I have gotten my life back (still a crazy and hectic life) and I am living it without the burden of hangovers, alcohol breath, dented cars, empty wallets, huge credit card bills, and strange stares from people that I would see in the morning after drinking at work conferences.

Dave thanks for checking in and starting this thread as it is good to hear true long term, real life success.

Thanks

Reboot - never say 'never'. My 'cure' was literally overnight. One day I was still drinking 4 a day with the odd AF day - the next day I did not want to drink. I tried forcing it a few times but the truth is that I just do not want to drink - I still cannot believe it at times. SO, things might still happen for you - but in the meantime I am pleased that you are pleased with the way they are working and that you are happy with it!

Hugs, Maggie x

I wish I could say I've improved after 17 months, but, very little...I put it down to not a lot of effort on my part.

Biggest improvement is not getting plastered whilst out in the pub, but I'm happy to come home and continue..some nights I don't finish everything, but that's about it.....all my own fault!

Hey, Summer!

Well, I guess as long as you're getting some benefit out of it, it's a step in the right direction. Are you still feeling isolated?

Hello, I am new to this group and have started TSM about three weeks ago. I am currently tapering off Ativan. I think I was going too fast, so will have to start over. Bardo, how exactly do Benzos interfere with TSM? Thank you in advance. :)
