Hello I started TSM last night and OMG only managed 5 units and just didn't want anymore ~ I can drink up to 25 ~ I did feel slightly nauseous so don't know if that put me off a bit more with it being my first time so hopefully not cause it felt GREAT to put that bottle down the sink~ Anyway there seems to be lots of encouraging stories which will spur me on thanks

Welcome, 21eller and congratulations on getting started with TSM! Sounds like it's having quite an impact already!

Do you drink every day or do you tend to have dry days and then a binge? Don't worry too much if your numbers fluctuate at first, it would be abnormal if they didn't (not that it would be bad, though).

Hi Joe and thanks ~ yep I'm a binge drinker I've never drunk everyday ~ I'm trying it again tonight as I have a day off tomorrow but really busy till Sunday so don't really want to drink at all if I can till then ~ how has your journey been?

I'm a bit shy of 3 months in, but I've cut down from a high of 12 per day to 4 per day. I'm a daily drinker with a 30 year habit and haven't had an AF day yet, but I'm not really worried about it at this point. The Side Effects haven't abated, but I seem to be a real outlier in that respect.

That's really great well done ~ are you talking units? Unfortunately I had 18 units last night ~ I think I had more cause I ate a Chinese but I didn't get that desire to stop ~ is this normal on the second day of nal? Thanks

Hi Jaba thankyou ~ what 18units is good? I usually have about 13 units in an evening ~ I think the only reason I managed 5 units was because I felt quite ill with the Nal

I was talking about your 5 units.

Do not be alarmed if your intake goes back up, for it does for just about everyone.

Most will have a honeymoon with the first couple of weeks or so, but sometimes it only last a few days.

Everyone is different and every experience is different, but the outcome is the same as long as you take your nal 1 hour before you drink.

Maybe the next time you will find no desire to have that drink once that hour has past, for that happened to me in the beginning. But, if that doesn't happen do not worry. Just continue to make sure you wait that hour, and track your intake.

TSM can be like a rollercoaster ride, for there will be ups and downs throughout this process, but as long as you think positively and stay compliant things will change...sometimes slowly, but there will be change.

Hi Jaba thanks ~ yeh I've looked at people's stats and they've gone up and done for months then no units so yeah I'm sticking with it ~ none tonight though ~ tbh I feel like I've taken a tab ~ I feel really nauseous 24 hrs after I took one ~ the thought of alcohol repulses me ~ I feel like I've been out at sea lol ~ is this common? I get a sensation like Mal de Debarquement, but no nausea.
