drank a little last night, but decided to go wed/thur/fri AL-free. sorta like it. thanks again to everyone's support!

hmmmm, not sure exactly what you mean, Joe. I'm off friday so I thought it'd be nice NOT to drink, as being inside on a day off used to lead to stupid drinking. I'm open to ideas, though! ha! coffee is given, for sure.....

I totally understand about the being inside on a day off leading to drinking - and love the way that your mind is going these days! Isn't it a great feeling to not HAVE to drink?

yeah, I used to feel like it was ALWAYS in the cards on a day off with crummy weather. now I feel like I have better things to do!

spent the day inside watching "Ex Machina". if any of you are sci-fi fans, I heartily recommend it. great stuff!

had to put my dog (13 years) down last night, very unexpectedly. my two beer night turned into a bottle of wine. so now I just woke up hungover, sick, and still don't have my Emma. I've been really good about not drinking in times of anxiety/depression, so it kind of sucked to slip. that said, it feels like it's less likely to happen again that way. I'm learning.

the good news I haven't shared is I'm going to be a grandfather. it has been strange to find out I had a biological son in August, then learn of a coming grandchild in December!
