I agree with je----even if you have some ups and downs, you've broken through a big barrier and that has to feel good. AL will never look quite the same in your eyes!

Gosh - thank you all - Zontar, Reboot, Ocean, Steve, All and Je - I loved all the comments ! I HAD to persevere - the alternative was too unbearable to think about! And yes, AL will never look the same - I HOPE anyway! I have not had a drink now since New years - when I had the one. I have thought about it - and even took the nal once, but didn't end up having a drink - I just do not want one. Just STILL so weird!

thanks everyone for YOUR support. It truly does make a difference to be a part of this forum! And Reboot - yes I will stick around - UKB did and she was such a support to me in the beginning - and Badger too really helped me. Then as time went on and others supported me too, it just made a huge difference. I WILL repay the favour!
