Hope,
I guess you recover faster than I ever did...to be young again!
TSM is a process and unfortunately a hard process for some. You will be able to stop, but you will have to work on it until you brain accepts that "ah moment" isn't going to come. Everyones experience is different, so I cannot tell you when things will change for you; however, that doesn't mean you cannot force your intake down and give yourself a limit.
You can drink any amount for TSM to work, you just have to be exposed to the environment that you usually drink and what you usually drink. So, if you can stop under 3 glasses of wine, or under 3 mixed drinks it would keep you from having a nal. over and feeling like crap for a day. Doing that is hard at first but does get easier with time.
Right now you brain is refusing to believe that it is not going to get that "ah moment", so it will trick you into drinking more. BUT, if you slow down your drinking (sips not gulps) and drink water in between those glasses, the chances are you will not experience a binge again.
Hope, is that your normal party habits? I am just asking, not judging. Habits are the things that the book does not cover, for you will have to distinguish between habit and cravings.
Did someone or you constantly refill your glass? If so, switch to a bottled water after every drink and let people know that you cannot party like you used to anymore. Tell them you are getting to old for it, or the next day you feel awful and it's not worth it (which is the truth).
Did you lose count? Make it a habit to measure and count every time. Get a white board with magnets for your refrigerator (I used to have one to but my grocery list on), and when you are having a party start a tally. No one but you (or your BF) needs to know what those lines mean.
If you can, tell you BF about your count, and tell him that you never want to feel like yesterday again, maybe he can remind you that one more drink will not be worth it.
I had to do that with my husband, for there are still times when I want more (it does get easier, but habits die hard). And I will get mad and aggravated with him, but he is only doing what I asked him to do.
If you need to have something in your hand (like a drink) when you are having or at a party switch to a water in your hand, for your brain doesn't care whats in your hand and with taking the nal. it really doesn't care that your are drinking water. That hand to mouth without thinking when you are socializing is probably what got you in trouble, so carrying around water instead of a drink will help a lot.
Some people (Tamtam comes to mind) prefer not to have alcohol in the house, it is okay until you feel you are in control.

How long do you think it could be before the Nal takes effect again ?? And if I have a few days off Nal will it leave my system ??
I think you mean the time for you to have control or "cure" which is uncertain. If you are lucky, 3-4 months, but there have been some it has taken over a year, I looked back on my progress and it was about 13-14 weeks when I felt a big difference. If you are talking about with your next dose before you drink, 1 hour to 90 minutes before your next drink.
Taking a day off will give your brain some rest and you will be able to experience some of those endorphins, so do something that will feel good (exercise, walking, sex, etc). For the nal to be completely out of your system it is about 3 days, but it would be depending on your metabolism. I have a slow metabolism so it takes about 5 days before I notice a difference.
I am so glad that you are feeling better, and I am so sorry this is so long...I get carried away at times.
