I'm new to this process and doing quite well. I can't even get 2 drinks in me without being like ew, I'm done.
I realize as I'm drinking that I've been drinking sugar. TONS of sugar.
Without the buzz, I feel like I'm drinking 15 sugar cubes in a wine glass. DISGUSTING!
And oh so effective!
How I ever pumped all this into my system for 15 years is mind-boggling. I sure did love that buzz. But without it, this stuff is gross.

Hopeful,

Everyone is different, but I could taste a difference in my wine. But my wine had no taste, I could be drinking water, or flat soda water, and I wouldn't have know the difference. Some people claim there is no difference. I found if I switched my brand of wine it tasted like it should (if that isn't funny), and as times goes on my wine has taste most of the time.

It sounds like you are having a good honeymoon period, and may change within a couple of weeks. Your intake may go up, but that is normal; however, there have been a few (Ocean is one) that their intake never increased.

As long as you wait 60 minutes and then drink a little bit of alcohol (even a couple of sip) this process will still work, so do not feel that you have to drink as much as you normally did or try to. If need be you can switch to another drink that you enjoyed, if you find you cannot stomach that wine any more (I am with you, for too sweet would make me sick). I am strictly a wine drinker, but when I first started out I did have cravings for beer (not my favorite, but ok) and I really enjoyed them, so switching may help for a spell.

That buzz is gone, but I want to warn you that you can drink through the medicine and that can be scary. Another time for that post.

Enjoy your honeymoon period, for it will help you see how things will be in the future. And remember to track (measure out those glasses if at home, do not guesstimate).

Jaba
