Hi everyone, sorry to be M.I.A lately as I have been busy, busy.
Just to update you all I never got any results back from my last Liver tests so I called the Doctor last night and found out that my Liver tests were all good this time. Of course I have gone back to drinking a bottle of wine or more every night, arghh!

Anyway I hit 1 Year on TSM on Oct 14th and to say the least I am not Cured yet? I have been pretty busy with all this getting settled into my new home and having to deal with all the tweeks of having a new house built but I'm sure I will get there soon.
I have stopped tracking my drinking as everyday is pretty much the same and still forcing some AF days. I do try to note down my AF days as they are so much more important to me at this point.

I few things I have noticed is I am not desperate as I was before TSM to have a drink at 5PM and sometimes after taking Nal at say 4PM I may not get around to pouring a glass of wine until maybe 6 or 6:30PM? I also find some nights (not all) that it can take me 4 hours to drink 1 bottle of wine and then I will be done for the night where I used to drink much faster.

I have got to run right now but will try and update more later and need to catch up on everyone elses progress. Hope you all are doing great and have an awesome weekend.
hugs to all....xoxoxo
Nal ON!

The bit in bold is what you are looking for, good work.

I'm not too far behind you & this is pretty similar to my experience - I guess we're just slow un-learners ;)

Cheeto so glad to hear from you.

REALLY glad to hear about the liver tests.

And yes I do see progress in what you wrote. For some of us it is just slow. I have been doing really well, but this weekend spiked back up again. Picking myself up, starting again.......

Nal on, my dear!! xoxo Newlife

Glad to hear your tests came back all good, that was worrisome.

And yes Cheeto the delay in your drinking is good news! Rome wasn't built in a day, and nal works slowly for most of us.

Cheeto... so glad all is well, especially with your liver tests!

I have a feeling that I am a "slow un-learner" as Badger so succinctly put it. I watch your progress with great interest as I feel like that's the path I am destined to follow, as well.... just remember that slow & steady wins the race!

Curious about the little quirks your dealing with with your newly built house? We're in the process of building one and anticipate moving in this winter (Feb? March?). What do I have to look forward to once we get there?!

In the meantime, keep on keeping on!

Hi MinnieMom, the quirks are all about a new home or in my case a new Modular Home being built. Mostly just little things like my door locks not working properly, missing vents, painting issues, needing my ducts cleaned after all the dirt and dust, having the outside of my place pressure washed and the patio/driveway sealed, etc etc. It's all to be expected with a new build as they forget things or are just concentrating on getting you in to your new home and finishing up the little things later.

Well everyone I have been trying to have an AF day for the last few weeks but just can't seem to get control. I am still drinking a bottle of wine or a bit more each night. I know I still have to have Faith but after a little more than year on TSM I feel a little depressed that I am at the back of the class and will not graduate?

Hope you are all having a good week and are doing well with TSM!
Nal On!!!

Cheeto,

I am so sorry about how you are feeling, and I know how frustrating this process can be.

Do you think that you may be starting over since you were off the nal. and drinking?

I know that sounds like a stupid question. If that was the case maybe you're not as far off as you think.

I just wish I had an answer for you, for I hate to see someone struggle.

Keep the faith,

Jaba

Cheeto - you are not that far in front of me - and I know that this will work ! We both have to have faith and patience - it will work ! You are not at the back of the class and you WILL graduate ! Trust me - I know you will !!! Hang in there - really :)

HUGS, Maggie x

Hi Jaba, I have never gone off the Nal and drank ever! Not sure what you mean?

Thanks Maggie and everyone, I know patience, patience!

I am so sorry Cheeto,

I thought when you were waiting for your test results you were out of nal. and had a couple of glasses of wine. That is what I get for assuming.

Again, I am sorry,

Jaba
