I'm just going to put this out there so when people use the search function with questions regarding exercise and naltrexone they can find this.
I read a recent article indicating that pleasure from exercise is related to cannibinoids, and if that's the case exercise pleasure shouldn't be diminished by naltrexone. And while I know the book implies otherwise, I put more faith in my own personal experience. TSM is after all relatively new, and to a certain extent we're the guinea pigs in an experiment.
Anyway, I've been taking 50 mg for nearly a year and am currently exercising 4-500 minutes a week. I enjoy the hell out of it, and it's often my favorite part of my day. I can't see that naltrexone has diminished my pleasure in exercise in any way whatsoever. I have also read where others report the same result, so don't hesitate to add exercise to part of your cure. As you begin to drink less using TSM your energy levels go up, whatever feeling of depression you have are reduced, and exercise goes hand in hand with both. I think its safe to say that the combined effects are synergistic and promote both mental and physical health, so if you feel so inclined, have at it!
