What a menagerie All41! I'm like Jaba... a dog lover through and through. My little fur person is a 4 year old puggle named Otis. He is the best dog I've ever had.... I love this little guy SO much. The kids tease me that I have 800 pictures of Otis on my phone and, like, 3 of them... and they're all old! I've taken at least 4 pictures/videos of Otis TODAY! My husband says that we "shine" like the old guy and the little boy in The Shining. When he's working from home, he says that 10 minutes before I come home from wherever I am, Otis gets up, starts pacing, looking anxious, whining... he KNOWS when I'm coming back. Crazy!

Sorry all41, it was late, sheep/dog and yes she does see herself as a dog, for that is the only 4 legged animal she can relate to, but she sounds cute. I have to admire you, for farming is a full time job by itself (even if you only have animals to take care of). I wish I could have chickens, for my son eats so many eggs, and organic eggs are not cheap!

Where I live there are a tun of wild turkeys and deer (I think there are always a lot of deer). The turkeys are something new. Some man wanted to start hunting turkeys, so he raised turkeys and started letting them be free range. The next thing you know you a turkey will be flying (kinda) out towards your car...it is the funniest thing. I think our wild turkey population has quadrupled in the past 4 years, and it is an awesome sight to see.

Otis sounds like a real lover! And I have more pics of my fur babies than my kids! My kids would always say I am nicer to the dogs than I am to them. And I would say, of course, for the dogs love me, and are happy to see me, and do what I ask when I ask without complaining...and of course I would hear "that's not true, for bear talks back all the time", and I have to tell them but he still does what I ask.

Life without a pet is no life at all!
