Thanks for the response. I am so glad I have one child, I can not imagine worrying about more then one. My biggest problem is I worry about too many people and I am not one of them. Oh, to have a spouse that you want to travel with, to spend your lifetime with in your old years. My sister and her husband are like that , they were high school sweet hearts. They have so much fun with life. My family likes my husband because he is kind but his illness makes him a jerk and they could careless if they ever saw him again. Oh, to walk away. Not as easy as some may think.
On to the pill and drinking, I have been doing well, back to the half pill. I don't think school is making me tired. I really love when I get into the classroom, I love my kids. I hate the crap. Does the Nal give you weird dreams. So weird. I have also cut back on anxiety med and the melatonine.
Oh, well, on ward and thinking about each drink I pour.

It's Friday, this week really flew by. We are suppose to get snow, low of 28. I do have some fun things planned for the weekend, and looking forward to starting a good book.
Thanks for reminding me, I will be cutting out my anxiety meds this evening. The dreams are so weird, I find myself excited to wake up to know that they aren't real. I took this online course that helps you to interpret your dreams. These dreams are beyond interpreting, I don't even want to, they are scary.
Yeah, my husband has never hit me but his lack of sensitivity to me is amazing. Everyone out of the house thinks he is wonderful. I just need to create a life of my own when I retire.
So how have you been. I see you don't print your drinking, have you had any AF days. If I remember you are a wine drinker. I used to love a glass of cold very dry white. Now, I do not find it pleasant at all.
Enjoy your Friday and hope the kids are doing well. I assume they all still live at home.

Meggie, I am on week 20 with The Sinclair Method. I have to say that, at this point, all my side effects of the nal have vanished. I had headaches, crankiness, sweating, loss of libido to name a few. I do still get tired when I take the pill and have more than two glasses of wine. That is a great thing because I go to bed instead of drinking through the night.

Dealing with an ill spouse must be very difficult. I missed what his illness is, but is there a chance he will get better?

Keep plugging along.

Ok, if I say I started around Aug 7th, then I would be at 10 weeks. No headaches, libido was lost years ago, I am just tired. Oh, well, plug on.
My husband will not get better he is on disability and has numerous problems , he takes 13 medications. He has a very rare form of cancer and on top of it all he is bipolar. Fun, fun.

Hang in there, Meggie! We're all rooting for you!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's many maladies... you're definitely earning your "wings" right now!

I hope you enjoy reading that new book you mentioned... what is it, if you don't mind me asking? I LOVE to read!

I am checking out young adult literature. I read Hunger Games and so have several of my students. I am now going to dig into John Green's books. He wrote Fault in my Stars. I finished Girl on the Train, that was really good. I also have Wayne Dyers, Seeing Clearly Now on my phone. I am going to read Wonder to my students. As you can see I have many books going.
So angry with myself. I drank too much yesterday. I am cutting down on anxiety medication and haven't noticed much difference until yesterday. I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. Jaba is right I need to do thoughtful drinking. I get to Friday and just drink'''''
Minemom, how are you doing, we both are new. Do you have dreams?

I have really gotten into audiobooks and podcasts. Mr. ND has extreme difficulty reading (he can read, albeit quite slowly, but the letters jump around and it fatigues him really quickly) and I didn't think he should be deprived of access to literature just because of that. We started listening to audiobooks when we went on a long road trip in March, and we've kept it up since. I listen to them on my commute too, so I'm about 5 books ahead of him now.

The Hunger Games is one of the books I listened to; it was pretty entertaining. I think YA is a genre that gets overlooked but I think giving it a chance potentially opens up some great stories or adventures that you'd otherwise miss.

I'm doing ok, Meggie, though I really don't feel any different on the Nal than I did off of it ( once I got over the tiredness). I have not experienced the vivid dreams that you're having! I'm glad!!! From the sounds of it, you're not aline. Hopefully they'll stop soon for you since they're bothering you so much!

Oh... and about YA novels. .. a friend of mine is having her first (of a trilogy) of Sci-Fi young adult novels published in Nivember. It's super exciting! It's called Updrift by Errin Stevens. If you're in the market for a new read then, you should pick it up! She just got back from comicon where her publisher was promoting her book!
