Have to figure out how to do the units.
In my drinking days ( I was a wine drinker) I drank far too much wine to consider buying it in bottles. To heavy to buy and carry, too expensive, and too many bottles to have to get rid of. I switched to 5 ltr boxes to solve the problem. Then I purchased various sized wine carafes to fill from the boxes. I started (a long, long time ago...) with .5L. At the end I had a liter carafe. I have
always counted my drinks long before I ever heard of TSM. I always thought that by counting I could control (not).
Anyway, if you drink like this it is easy to count. Even when I began exceeding the liter carafe I would then pour individual glasses, so my count would be something like "1 carafe + 4 glasses".
I am not sure it's important to match everyone else's units. You just need
your units to be consistent so you can monitor your own consumption.
