New York City is amazing, esp if you like Broadway plays. It also is beautiful at night. I went last December to see the tree and the Macy decorations. It was so busy you could hardly walk, tooo many people for me. If you are not a crowd person I would suggest you stay away.
My biggest montra is mindful drinking. It really is amazing how many you pour without thinking. Still on the half pill, not as tired. I do think you are right about taking too much sleep medication. I think I will cut the benadryl and move up to 3/4 a pill of Nal.
Jaba, are you still losing weight and how did you doc appointment go?

I am sorry, doctors can be such a pain. I now have an online portal and it still says alcoholism in my records. I am going to ask that it be taken out. It has dawned on me that I really only started this journey August something. That means I have only been doing this 2 months. It seems like a long time but it hasnt been. Oh, last night I was bad, real bad. I was upset, and just drank, no thought just poured. I felt like crap today. Wasn't really hungover, just tired. Wow, it was twice what I have been drinking.
Also, I have decided today to retire. I hope I am not making the wrong decision, I do have several months to finalize this, but, I need to do something else. Another journey.

So you want it on your record? It makes it hard to get insurance.
I am thinking that if I am retired I can sub and I may just travel. Get on one of those sites that travels around and I can meet people. I still have almost a year till this happens. I cannot retire until July.

Yes, July will be here fast. That is how life seems to go. As stated I can always change my mind. I am hoping for an incentive, it would be about 20 grand. It will be nice to use that for a trip to Hawaii and to Africa. I think I will do a work trip to Hawaii. I want to help build a school, or homes that need them. I can't be dragging a gin bottle to all these places. Time will tell. Jaba, what do you do with your time? How old are your children.
Thanks again for all your support.

We have had several border collies. Presently my daughter has a year and half old border lab mix. She is primarily border and she came from down south. Her family was dropped off at a no kill shelter. She was driven from Tennessee to New York. She is a nervous mess. We took her to Petco and they tried to cut her nails. She bit them , when I came in there was 3 people trying to hold her down. Now, going to the vet is horrible, you should see them try to give her a rabies shot . She has been to training and they loved her. My daughter is afraid that she may have to put her down. The trainer , trains police dogs. She said Sophie would be wonderful as a police dog. She has since bit me and nipped my daughter's boyfriend. I don't know what we will do if she bites someone out of the family. Any suggestions.
I took a full pill the last couple of days and cut down on the sleep medication. Wow, it really makes it hard to get up in the morning. I am fine now, but I didn't want to go to school. So, I will try to do the half pill today. I know this will work. You have been doing this about a half a year?
I was so angry about that dentist, people can be so outrageous. I also know several people that go on big game hunts. Not my thing.
My daughter didn't get her licence till she was 19. I can't imagine your child like being driven around. So is your 25 year old working at a steady job. When I retire my daughter can not be on my insurance. That worries me because finding a teaching job is not easy.
I totally understand the weight and thyroid thing. But if I stopped drinking I would lose weight.
You are lucky that you have a husband that you want to travel with. Mine has so many issues that it is not comfortable even going out to dinner.
