Hi All,
I am new to this group and from London.
Hello all.
I first read about TSM over 2 months ago and after years of battling the bottle and living in hope there was some answer out there outside of the 12 step programmes, I stumbled across TSM.
Like all of us upon reading this, I thought it was too good to be true.
Determined to get my hands on Nax as soon as possible, I went to see my GP.
My GP shook his head when I asked for a prescription but through this online group, I found a doctor who would prescribe Nax over 3 weeks ago.
Unlike other countries, Nax is not easily available in the UK.
After 3 weeks of visiting chemists all around London, still no Nax.
Chemists say they are waiting and cannot guarantee supply for another 2 weeks at least.
So the waiting is very frustrating. I just want to start the treatment.
But am looking forward to beginning the programme and hopefully seeing results.
I enjoy seeing how everyone is progressing on this site. Especially those who are seeing results and finding freedom from the shackles of booze.

I live in Ireland and have same problem. I got mine from the web a site called offshorex.com they are not cheap but seem to cost about the same as people in North America are paying.

I hope that info will be useful and put an end to your wait before too long..Waiting for the book and medics held me up a few weeks , frustrating .
Big welcome here from fellow Londoner although I've been abroad for over twenty years .
Me in France, most in US , some in Canada uK and Ireland , we've seen some from AUStralia and Spain but alkies(problem drinkers) are the same the world over we speak the same language . The good news is that here there really is some good news , that I'm very glad you're about to get in on it.

I can't understand why you are having so much difficulty obtaining naltrexone in the UK - particularly in London. I'm in the UK and I get mine from - wait for it - Sainsbury's Pharmacy. I take Nalorex, which is produced by Bristol-Myers Squibb. I have been getting Nalorex from Sainsbury's for just over three months. I have private prescriptions so I pay the full amount.

You can get Nalorex from chemistdirect.co.uk

I haven't used them myself, but some friends of mine order a lot of stuff from them
