I liked it and as I said I did stop drinking with it - some of it I didn't like the way he put things - like the goblin - so I changed that in my head ! LOL But I DID stop drinking with it - and this has reminded me that I need to get it out again. The Vail one - Jason Vail worked with Carr before Carr died, and then put out his own book which is pretty much saying what Carr did but in a different way. Carr also had one out for smoking and then quit - and died of lung cancer eventually when he died. It IS worth a read! And funnily enough, one has to drink (or smoke) while you are reading the book.

Carr didn't stop me from drinking however he does give a really good perspective on alcohol, the stories we tell ourselves which are just daft.
For instance alcohol actually is for most people, an acquired taste. It's a really bitter drink, even when sweetened up and boy don't I know that if I ever accidentally have it in a sauce or chocolate. It's like whoooph!
