I think his theory was let the patient feel those good endorphins so they don't turn to drugs...but with al. I think it is a little different, but I might be wrong.

Let's not forget to take into account that ALCOHOL is a depressant too. So maybe the long term nal users are depressed because they are drinking. I know for me if I have more than one drink I am affected the next day, and that was true pre-nal. xoxo Newlife

I'm very depressed, but I've had it for years. I don't know if the Nal has made it worse or not. My MD just changed my antidepressant to something new, and I'm trying not to drink and take nal everyday, just in case it might be making the depression worse.

My daughter committed suicide last August 28, 2014, so I've been grieving the loss of her. So it could just be that. So I have a sieve for a brain, lol. Not a very good answer or probably very helpful. But just want to mention that I suffer from it also.
