Well, as stated in Maggie's post I had What I called a nalover. I gather it wasn't as bad as I needed to be in bed all day. I did want to sleep, but I felt in a fog. I did much better yesterday night. I need to get back to the grind after labor day. I was really upset on Friday because my daughter didn't get her dream job. I think her present employer is giving her a bad reference because she doesn't want to lose her. ( I am praying for karma}
I also am hoping that when I get back to the grind that I will get in a schedule and get back to the gym. I have seen a drop in drinking and I hope that will help with weight loss.
Maggie, there is a person that has dropped into MWO that could use your wise advice, so please check in.
It is interesting to see how many people who view your post but don't say anything.

Hi Meggie: Sorry about the nalover. That does not sound like a lot of fun. But your wanting to exercise and everything sounds good; I would try to keep that up. I hate to exercise but always feel great when I force myself to do it. I need to do that today.

Sorry about your daughter and the job too. It is hard to see our kids struggle, especially when we can't "fix" everything for them.

Hope today is a good one and that you enjoy your Labor Day weekend.

xoxo Newlife

Hi Meggie, I'm sorry about the nal overs. I haven't had one yet, unless a bad hangover is one? I'm going have to research this more.

I've been on TSM since 6/10/15, and still in the process of being cured. Sounds a little like a pickle doesn't it? lol, my silly sense of humor.

That stinks about your daughter. How old is she? Hopefully something better comes along. It took my son a while to get his desired job after college. He wanted to be in law enforcement. So in between college and the deputy job he got, he was an electrician, did some accounting. He's a bit of a jack of all trades now! But he finally got his law enforcement job where he lives and went to college in Santa Barbara. We laugh together, that for him it's the 3rd time he gets the jobs. We say, third times a charm! But it is heartbreaking for us mothers to watch their disappointment.

And it's ridiculous that the Doctor put down your husband is a heavy drinker due to 4 drinks a week. Some of these Doctors a just crazy. I wonder why more of them can't be more up to date on treatment with Sinclair Method. I get a little frustrated myself having to walk a Doctor through my treatment. And yes I lie at times about how much I drink, afraid she won't give me my nal.

I like to think we are in the forefront of a new wave of treatment. And someday they will talk about us brave ones doing it alone with out the medical community. They will look really bad.

jaba, 22 pounds that is great. I would love to lose that much weight, that would bring me down to what I want. I have noticed that I am not that interested in food. Nothing really tastes that great.
I have been on the full pill about 2 weeks and have noticed that my drinking has gone down. Except for the day my 24 year old didn't get the job. She has never had a bad reference and has held many positions in high school and college. All of her employers love her. I just need to get her out of this district. Poor girl has gone through more then 3 interviews, but she has had some great experience. But she is coming up against those that have had more. Getting out of this area would get her out of the politics.
Happy labor day.

I don't think her dream job would be awful unless she had a horrible boss or terrible kids. However, our governor is killing the profession. Sorry to hear about your husband. The accounting field can be horrid and they use their people awful. I remember hours spent at the end of each month and quarterly's were hours long. My husband was a CFO of many companies
I am also of that age. I am in my late 5o's. Even 3 years ago I was slimmer and could fit into all my clothes. I was a 6 five years ago with lots of muscle tone. I haven't been good about working out. I loved doing the classes, tabata, kickboxing, and pilaki.
Interesting about the toxin idea, it makes perfect sense. I know I have more body fat then I have ever had.
Jaba, when did you start this program? I would say I have fully been on the program for 2 weeks. Except for Friday, I have done well. I want to quit this forever.

What does your daughter do Meggie ? I thought that an employer cannot give a bad reference - all we can do where I work is to say either yes they did work there or no they didn't ..... I hope that she finds something she likes anyway...

I am glad that the Nal is working well for you Meggie - are you tracking your units ? It is a good idea to do that so that you know how you are doing - the ups as well as the downs !

Have a good day, Hugs, Maggie x
