It sounds like a good plan, Jaba. Keep us posted.

Dee, and Maggie,

I am not feeling anything when I am off the nal. And something that Steve said got me thinking that maybe linking days together until I do feel something will let me know when the nal. is out of my system and is no longer blocking my receptors. So, I decided that this week I will do 4 days, and next week I will do 5 days, etc., until I can feel those feel good endorphins.

I would like to feel great in the morning; instead, I am having very disturbing dreams, and I am not sleeping as sound as I do on the nal. (go figure I finally found something to let me sleep sound and it is taking the joy out of my life :( ). I wonder if it is possible that I have less receptors than normal and that is why being off of it I get no good feelings?

Jaba

Really interesting that things that are happening to you - I do NOT sleep well on the Nal - but do agree with Steve in having a break from the Nal - it takes me three days to get it out of my system - and then I do feel good. The odd thing is that it has taken me about 7 months to get to that point - but I now do feel it when I have been on the Nal for a period of time, so understand why you are doing what you are doing. VERY impressed with your fortitude !!

Hugs, Maggie x

That's interesting. Don't know if you caught my post on the stoners. I stumbled on a site by accident. Stoners were complaining it took 2-3 days for their dope to work after parents made them take 50mg Nal. One dude snorted a 50mg nal and couldn't get stoned for a week (poor baby). Just saying 50mg may block much longer than 24 hrs.
I was basically interested in sublingual Nal. If drugs are absorbed under tongue they usually bypass liver and digestive system entirely. Theoretically applicable to Nal. DON'T know if it works with liquid form, which is how I take it. Dissolving tablet under tongue may be bitter experience but if you were dragged into a bar and had to drink and needed coverage NOW... A bit like taking a Nitro tab and chewing an aspirin when having a heart attack. :)
All theoretical, as usual.
Steve

I did actually dissolve it and just drank it. It was bitter it wasn't terribly so. I do not think I could chew them though I think that would be too bad. But not sure if that would be the same as taking it sub lingually.
