very cool day. played 27 holes of disc golf, talked about his and my AL experiences, and holychriste we're a lot alike! just in perspective and our fight with AL etc. hopefully we both inspired each other. took him to my bike shop and skateboard shop, and I'm glad he got to meet some of my friends. I think he's catching on that I'm a 15 yr old in a 50 yr old body. this was the first time we had HOURS together w no one else around. his wife is terribly sweet and cool, though, and I feel like I could say anything to her as well. like me, he has a partner who is open and takes life as it comes. he's a lucky bastard (pun intended).

I can say I am a little jealous, but happy for you and your new relationship with your son. I love to hear the joy in your voice and I can almost see the skip in your step...you sound beaming from ear to ear.

what's funny is my dad offered him home football tickets to any game here (HUGE football state) that he wants to come back for. and I'M supposed to be in charge of doling out his game tickets. I've been trumped by the new kid! :lol:
