Well if there are any lurking noobs here, I bet they appreciate how TSM has left our wit, wisdom and sense of humor intact. This is a funny bunch!

Cheers mates

I am laughing as I read the rest. Clean I will be . Firebird hope you are doing well. I am having my first beer since being af since June 5th. I wanted to make it a month but too much got in the way. I took my nal first though as I always do and am happy for the progress anyway. I hope all is well. G4M hilarious as well. Best to all. :D

You have NO IDEA (but perhaps you do) how inspirational it is to hear you're having your first beer in weeks! You go, GF! (Maybe you should reward yourself with. . .a nice boat ride. . .?)

Well, I wish I could tell you all that last week I turned the corner and my problems are over, but nope, I'm obviously not out of the woods yet. It does get a little frustrating at times, but I know the drill: pop, wait, drink. Repeat until cured.

As I write this I'm sitting in the lounge of one of the most famous recording studios in Seattle, working on the mixdown of our EP, but what's really on my mind is TSM, and why is this taking so darn long (TSM, not the mixdown, which always takes forever). It just goes to show how obsessed a person can become over progress, or lack thereof.

Guess I'll just keep on as usual.

You got it.

To that I would add, "for 3 to six months".

That means we have you to share your posts for at least that long.

It's true, I have not even reached the 3 month mark, so for now I'll just follow the the protocol and try not to over think it. I just had a Nal for lunch so we'll see what the evening brings . . .

Firebird - Try not to over-think it, which is very easy to do, especially during this 10 to 14 week period. It seems like forever that we've been doing this and seemingly nothing.

But occasionally, we get what I have called "glimpses of the future". I hope you get them too! Days, where you don't really feel like drinking or maybe you do, but there is no outstanding craving to imbibe.

For me, after the dullest, most predictable drinking week of my life, here I am today indifferent about having anything else to drink. I took my Nal, waited an hour, I had 2 drinks, the second of which I almost didn't finish, and now I don't want any more... quite atypical of my drinking habits. Another glimpse of things to come.

One day, every day will be like it is for me today and that gives me hope. I trust that you occasionally have days like this also, and these can bring you hope too!

Bob
