IT'S A BOY!!!

I'm officially the father of a 31-year-old son I never knew about. crazy. didn't sleep at all last night, even after a giant glass of wine. thanks for everyone for the interest and support. as much as I thought I was prepared for it, it still blows me away. I'm 50 with a great 24-year-old stepdaughter, but thought I never had any of my own DNA out there. weird.....

had another nice talk with him last night. headed to my dad's this morning to tell him I got a 16 yr old girl pregnant (30+ years later!). hey, I never knew!

Oh gosh - it didn't even dawn on me that your parents are now blood relative grandparents !! Oh my gosh - do let us know what they said - even if it is in a PM !! I had not even thought about that!

bit of a shocker at first for my dad, but he was pretty fascinated by the story. talked to the birth mother yesterday for the first time in over 30 years! she apologized profusely for not telling me, then we had a great conversation. life never gets dull, I guess.....
