Hi Everyone, this past week 8 units and 5 AF days. The week before, 7 AF days. I'm close to the 9 month mark, and I'm getting very close to the cured list. It happened quite suddenly, as 3 weeks ago I was somewhere in the 30's with 4 AF days. My AF days were steadily increasing, however when I drank I binged on light beer hence the high units. Now, after a couple I'm done. I actually don't need the couple. I'm posting this because I was getting VERY discouraged. So, for those of you who are discouraged, stay the course. When it kicks in, it's sudden and very uplifting.

Oh Retread - I was SO happy to read your post - how exciting for you. Wonderful!!! And yes it does give those of us who get discouraged at times, hope ! Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing ..... it made for really happy reading !!!

Congratulations! This great news for us newbies. Did you have any side effects from Nal? And how much do you take? After one week, I feel I am loosing interest in alcohol, but side effects from even a small dosage of Nal are still present.

I do still get some mild gastrointestinal issues from the NAL. Not bad at all. I take 50mg. an hour before drinking. Good luck and stay the course!
