lena,

thanks for the reminder, that's exactly what I was considering doing ....

with the info provided I realize that I have a 12 hour window, so no problem.

I did "forget" at brunch this past Sunday and had a bloody mary w/o taking my Nal,

WOW I felt like I had drank 4-5 double Scotch & Waters by the time I left ...

I won't make that mistake again.

take care

Very good question!

I took a shot of Vivitrol on May 29 (Naltrexone IV....supposed to be slow release for a month) I don't feel ANY difference in my desire to drink....and I still get the endorphin high from drinking) Unfortunately I can't get the endorphin high (let alone the motivation) for exercise!

Am I missing "selective" extiction with the shot?? I'm thinking of going to the Nal tablet next month for when I "plan" to drink ....Any opinions?

Note the HAM website sites the new book by Eskapa!

No, you don't get the endorphin high from drinking. You get something, but your opioid receptors are blocked, precluding the rush of endorphins. Many of us do not notice a difference in the effect of drinking on nal as opposed to off. The naltrexone is doing its job either way. The real healing process cannot be felt, according to Eskapa.

HAM is a great site; from there I found MyWayOut, where I learned of TSM.
