Sorry Maggie - I thought I had updated signature; it didn't take as I had run over the limit of characters!! 14.5 Units/2 AF WOO HOO!

My current goal is no more than 10 units per week, 3 days AF and no more than 3 or 4 drinks in any one day. It may not look like it but I am pretty far from that. Still, my consumption has definitely gone way down.

I think you are doing really well and I understand that you do not feel as if you are near your goal - I think I need also to have a goal like that .... but really well done for your lower intake - WONDERFUL !!!!

Congratulations on your success and thank you for your support to all of us! As a newbie, I love seeing any sort of progress. Gosh, if I can reduce my daily and weekly totals down to safe levels, I would be happy. Add in a lot of AF days, and I will be estatic. Keep showing us the way newlife...as you say...Nal on!

Thanks hikergirlat. Like I said, I still have a ways to go. What keeps me from reaching my goal is my at least weekly tendency, on the weekends, to want to really "let loose", that and the fact that I have for so long been a daily drinker and so each AF day is really a struggle. I spend WAY to much time thinking about alcohol. Newlife

End of week 9. My highest week ever on nal, 19.5 Units and 1 AF. Weekends "letting loose" compounded with nearly daily drinking. I just read Jackson's post about forcing AF days......maybe I shouldn't be doing that?? They do feel good though. I'm sure not where I want to be. And, I am tired of spending so much time thinking about drinking, tracking drinks, etc. I guess I want it all too fast; have to keep reminding myself that it has only been a little over 2 months, not even the time that Eskapa/Sinclair say it will take. And many on this forum have taken a lot lot longer to see results. Just do the best I can and hang in there. What else can I do?
