I am feeling wonderful about this program! This is the first time since dealing with this problem, I have actually had hope.

I know that I totally am in the honeymoon stage, I so get that.....but I have to say I just feel good.

Thursday my husband left for a motorcycle trip with buddies and before he left I bought 12 beers and 2 ready to freeze pina coladas. Under 'normal' circumstances those 12 would have been gone by now, and I have 6 left!!!! My hubby will be pleasantly surprised when he comes home on Sunday, that there may be some left!

I just wanted to share how good I feel.......

They say the honeymoon is just a preview of what's to come. You can use it as a reminder during those not-so-good times that we all seem to go through over the course of this program. I say enjoy it and let it give you faith that real changes are coming your way.

I feel wonderful and hopefull about not drinking though I do have one question, does anyone else feel light headed from the Nal? It's almost bothersome. Don't get me wrong, I love that I am not drinking as much and while I am feeling 'off' I certainly don't feel like drinking, but this feeling is.....strange.

I am on week 2, week 3 will begin on Tuesday of next week, so I suppose I've been on for a week and a half. It would make sense to have side effects this long.

I am hoping that there's someone out there that has felt or is feeling the same, and someone will tell me it will pass.

Yes, I did have that along with feeling like my eyesight was somewhat wierd. All of it passed with time. Now the only SEs I have are very vivid dreams and infrequent sleepiness.

There is a great deal of talk on this board about side effects, but I would say the majority of us by far have no side effects after the first few days. A lot of reported SE's can be attributed to mild alcohol withdrawal. In any case, the SE's are certainly worth it. Eyes on the prize!!
