Good solid success for you badger, after 4 days AF how does the Nal affect you, I find that I'm starting to get very nauseous taking the Nalmefene after several days off the medication which is a real turn off for drinking only once or twice a week.
4 AF days in a row is truly significant and if they are effortless then that's the icing on the cake.
After the fourth day, what's your rationale for drinking, in my own case the gremlins are still in there somewhere and trying to take the final step to complete indifference has not happened.
AF days are now routine and as with yourself effortless but I maybe in the early days of setting a new routine. Drinking once or twice a week!
thanks TT. I haven't had four consecutive days yet - it was two lots of two
I can't say that I've noticed any SE's on taking the Nal(trexone) after a few days off, but Nal-overs are definitely a reality now
as for rationale for drinking, it's all rather uncharted territory still. I feel like I still have some extinction left to go as I'm still drinking more than I'd like when I do drink, but I'm not forcing it, if I don't want a drink then I don't have one
as for the new "normal", I'll just take it as it comes, who knows how I'll feel in a few more weeks? if I end up basically AF with maybe an occasional social drink, & I'm happy with that, then so be it
