Well, just posted my numbers for week 5 - cannot believe I have been taking this for 5 weeks already! where does the time go ? Anyway - down a little again - which is good. Tomorrow seems to be the day of the week that I have the most! Maybe I will try leaving a little longer between drinks tomorrow .....

Hugs, Maggie x

Aawww - thanks UKB ..... I did smile though - just heard that we are due to get around 8" of snow plus more tomorrow - my first thought was 'Do I have enough Guinness in?' !! (the nearest place to get it is 2 1/2 miles away)

Hola Maggie, You gotta love what Heavy Fuel said:
" I am riding the roller coaster too, Down this week, up next. I am seriously down this week, but may be up next. It's learning to be indifferent to that up and down that is hard."
and that is exactly what we all need to do and keeping in mind what a POSITIVE outlook HF had and how many others that have been so successful in TSM by letting the science just work!
Hang in there and Nal On!

Thanks Cheeto - I love the way that we are all watching out for each other ! There are not many of us posting here but I do feel that you all care about what is happening - thanks !!!

And today I had 4.25 - will put 4 1/2 on my chart but I poured the 5th and hardly drank any of it - just did NOT want it - YEAH !!

I liked what HF said too Cheeto - and if I am honest I am down each week - only a tiny bit but down never the less so should stop with the worrying and accept what is ! I WILL get there !!

Hugs, Maggie xx

Maggie down from 37 to 27.5 in five weeks is a bigger success than your taking credit for. Imagine if nothing else happens in five weeks time you will be below half your staring numbers.

The really significant thing is your pouring away drink on a regular bases because you just don't want it. I think that is probably the sign that you are much closer than you realise.

Good Luck

Thank you Thistime for the pat on the back ! I suppose we are harder on ourselves so when someone else sees it and says so, that feels way better than me thinking it - if you follow ! I hadn't even thought of me pouring AL away meaning anything great but yes you are right - it is good !!
Hugs, Maggie x

I agree with thistime. to have a 30-40% reduction in 5 weeks is great progress - give yourself some credit :)

keep up the good work!
