Christy. Thank you!...I would stick with just Naltrexone as it is still very early days for you and you're doing well.

I'm not so sure Christy should just stick to Naltrexone, since she wants to substitute baclofen (a safe, non-addicting substance) for xanax and Ambien - both highly addictive. I think it's an option well worth exploring. But please, Christy, don't go off the xanax too quickly, as the withdrawal can be dangerous.

Baclofen IS addicting in the sense that it causes serious withdrawal symptoms when stopped after a period of use.

WTE your post makes a lot of sense to me. I needed to hear that too! I am anxious to be free of the beast but will not take another drug right now and hopefully never!

I know that I am just fresh in TSM, and I will wait and see how I make out. So far I feel good. I do find I am a tad lightheaded at times....strange feeling. I noticed it at work today....thankfully it is mindless.
