Happy New Year everyone! Well I did drink quite a bit on NYE but the difference was that I did not black out and was pretty much in control all night. I had a great NYE in Mexico dancing and having fun until 2AM. Slept in quite late yesterday but didn't feel too bad after all the imbibing the night before.
I am not really keeping track of my drinking now other than tracking my AF days and my days when I do not drink my usual amount cause it is pretty much the same amount of drinking as pre-Nal anyway.
Glad to read all of your updates and successes, keep them coming as I am checking in here and there while in Mexico.
Nal ON!

Well done Cheeto, I'm glad you had a good time. Not blacking out and remaining in control (mindfulness) is major, Applause! Stay the course.

I'm not quite here but these are some wise words from Heavy Fuel:

"I think there is some kind of wall around the 4-6 month mark folks hit. Just going through threads, it seems many posters are riding the roller coaster, frustrated and tired during this time. I think this is the period that tells whether TSM is going to work: if one makes it through, they seem to reach the finish. If they are discouraged and quit, of course they don't finish."

Nal On!!!!! :D 8-) :D

Just completed week 12 and my drinking actually has gone up a bit from pre-Nal. Well last night I guess I kept it at pre-Nal. I drank a bottle of wine and couldn't really sleep so thought I should pour another drink but I never got to drink it cause I spilled it and figured I would throw in the towel of pouring another one.
I keep reading all the people that are pretty new at TSM and are having such great results of a honeymoon period, their drinks have decreased immensely or they just don't want to drink at all. Of course as I have said I am so very happy for them but also very jealous just wishing and praying that this will happen for me sooner than later. I know, I know you gotta have patience and it can take anywhere up to a year as they say. :? :?
So nothing really new with me other than staying the course and ALWAYS following the Golden Rule!
Nal On!!!

Thanks badger... I am enjoying Mexico other than just after I arrived I caught some cold/flu bug probably from the plane so have not been up to going out a lot. Even when I am sick I drink so no change there for me, lol!
