Hi Magda, I'm happy to hear you are still doing well. It's very encouraging to know that if one sticks with the program then awesome results can occur. To be totally honest, I'm a bit jealous (horrible emotion, I know). I'm just a bit jealous of your resolve and discipline. I need you to beam some of that much admired perseverance over this way. I really do appreciate that you work hard to stay abreast of current research as it pertains to alcoholism and I look forward to your posts and your responses to all of our posts. Keep up the good work my friend! Keek

Hi Magda,

I'm new here, been on TSM for 9 days, I've already been given great advise by Milissa, plantprO and others. I've been searching for someone who was a daily drinker like myself because so many cured folk come from a binging background. Anyway I found your progress and I just wanted you to know that it's given me a boost just when I need it. It would appear that the bringers may have an advantage as the don't have the daily habit which creates such an obstacle to daily drinkers when trying to give up using willpower alone. (The whole boredom, what do I do with myself this evening thing). I'm not saying bingers have it any easier by the way. Just different.

You were a very fast responder and I'm not expecting to follow you in that regard. However your progress is like watching a speeded up version of the whole TSM Process. I intend to keep doing the Nal (for me it's actually Nalmefene) 1 hour before and see how long.

The only thought that remains is the AF days, it would seem that those who have had one early on do benefit but this is outside of the whole TSM Protocal so I'm not going to force one.

Having said that I won't force a AF day it just so happens that my Doctor who prescribed Nalmefene has left me one short. I have enough upto Monday night but he can't see me before Wednesday. So I have tonight, Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon and Tuesday nights and I must pick one for taking a AF evening. Actually it's not that scary, what I do know is I won't drink without nal come what may. I'm going to have a AF day and I'm quite excited to see what happens. Next week I'm going to switch to the weekly progress forum and hopefully sometime in the future I may be of help just as you have helped me. Watch this space and thank you so very much!

Thistime, TSM absolutely works for daily drinkers.

What happens over time is a mindset change, as you get away from your dependence on alcohol.

People who successfully used TSM, seem to rarely ever drink daily after they get things under control.

Once your mind clears yo realize what an idiotic habit it really is, and how it's accomplishing absolutely nothing, and you're just happy as hell that you don't do it anymore.

That's been my experience anyway

Drinking whilst taking Nal feels different, that's what they say and that's what I feel, no buzz or bland. The concept of indifference, AF days without trying is something I can only dream of at this time though. If it were not for the stories and support here, I be surprised if many would bother to finish the course.

I know it's hard to believe it first, but it actually does work.

Alcohol free days, and indifference were alien concepts to me, but now they're the norm. Getting to the perfect place in a buzzed fashion is elusive and almost impossible, and almost everybody ends up overdoing it, so to have that is the goal of drinking Will never work.

When you stay the course and get to that point, you realize that you really don't get much out of drinking anyways. So the fact that it doesn't give much in the way of a high ,really doesn't matter.

It will become obvious if you respond as you go along. Those that have seen success on here appear very pleased with the results. (As am I)

Look around for the post entitled "what was lost" that's a real interesting read.

Thistime: if you didn't feel any different after drinking while on the Naltrxone, it would never work! Think about that
