So my doctor is supportive of my method (thank goodness!!!!) and I took my chart in today to show her. She was very impressed at the results and asked me a ton of questions about my experience. She asked if I had decided to go to a 12 step meeting, and I told her I didn't think I needed anything extra and she agreed that it looks like I'm making "excellent progress". So I hope I've planted a seed for her! This method needs more attention! :D

I'm glad your doctor is open-minded. I'm dismayed that she would even suggest 12-step meetings, given the lack of evidence for them and the evidence that they are harmful. What the heck is wrong with doctors? We have to get lucky to find one who will prescribe a medication, but they are more than happy to suggest a program that relies heavily on belief in the supernatural.

I had a doctor actually write me a prescription for an AA meeting once.

A prescription for AA? LOL. That's funny!! Take that one to Walgreen's and see what they say!! :mrgreen:
