Weekend went well: AF Saturday with NA beer. Sunday took about 30 mgs after a little discussion with the alcohol brain who tried to convince me that I only needed 12.5. Ended up drinking two Mikes and putting the third (1/2) bottle in the fridge where it sits. Yesterday I took a 5:30 am exercise class for the first time in my life. I have occasional insomnia where I wake up at 3am, but I never have that much energy. The drinking less certainly has its advantages. I woke up this am with what I think is a detox headache, but its gone away. It is starting out to be a great week. Tootle loo! Keek

Took 25mgs ( still afraid to up my dose because of the nausea and plain icky feeling). It didn't really take the desire to drink more so I ended up with 2 small glasses of wine and a large beer when I got home. Now the aversion aspect of TSM is coming into play as I had (have) the dreaded Nalover Keek

Well, I guess a nal-over that bad would count as aversion therapy.

I'm a little concerned about the shakes. Your consumption isn't high enough for you to have bad withdrawal in the first place, and even if you did the alcohol should have killed that.

How is your diet? Is it possible that you're a bit fragile overall, and that's why you're getting hit so hard with this stuff? I know some people either tremble or twitch when they're low on magnesium.

I'm concerned as well. Maybe it's low blood sugar or something.

This is where I the slippery slope of non- compliance to the Golden Rule comes into play. Thanks for your concern ladies, My "constitution" can be a bit fragile at times. I have a tendency to get busy with projects and forget to eat a well balanced diet, then I try to make up for it with vitamins and juicing. I am a fairly small women and can have tolerance issues.

I ended up drinking through the Nal last night. I probably didn't wait a full hour, but hubby talked me into joining him for happy hour (shoulda gone with my instincts and not gone). Got a headache after 2 drinks and thought I could numb it away with another 3.... made it worse.....go figure.. Just plain tired today. so AF tonight. I sure do miss the warm fuzzies of the first drink, but gotta keep plugging away. Keek

I was still benefitting from the Nal at this point, but thought I could take less of it: A) nope, it doesn't work that way.
