Alkermes is the company who makes Vivitrol - naltrexone 30 day injection. They have a list of us doctors who provide Vivitrol. I found my doctor from that list. He provides both oral and injection. I dont tell him I'm using the Sinclair method. Don't believe he needs to know and I am successfully getting a legal drug that has changed my life and a allowed me to achieve my goals. I started out telling him I'm working toward abstinence - which I believe I am, but via the Sinclair method. The first week I had to submit to urine tests, so I remained fully abstinent. This was not hard to do as the naltrexone really squashed the cravings. It was astonishing how well it worked for me. He will continue prescribing. But is encouraging me to get it through my PCP because he believes it should be provided through regular care.
