I have a strong suspicion that DaveAus is posting while drunk. I'm guessing that the whole "Now I'm just watching how much I drink" thing didn't work out, and now he's lashing out at TSM and this community.

If I'm right then that is unfortunate, but he still needs to take responsibility for his actions.

When I drank, this was my rule: Never post after drinking. Never. Not after even one drink. That probably kept me out of interactions which would have been just fine, but it avoided the whole mess of "Am I drunk? How drunk? Too drunk? Maybe it's okay to just say I agree? Maybe it's okay to just post a link?" Just never. Harsh, but simple and therefore easy to follow.

Not posting whilst drunk, just upset that someone from another country can threaten my job, simply because they did an interview whilst drunk!!! So TSM is a "community" now?

For what it's worth, I think this is mostly but not entirely the truth--the bit about flu medication is fishy, but sure, she drank more than she intended to on one night, which is fine in terms of her cure. It happens to me now and again. It doesn't matter in one sense, though; as the public face of TSM she really can't have public episodes like that without damaging her credibility. I hope she learned a lesson from the experience. It's a good first step that she acknowledges what happened.

That sounds dead-on to me--frustration about TSM not having worked for him, frustration about inability to moderate, and general drunkenness are all evident. I'd also wager that his "polite" messages to Christian and the NC guy were confrontational to the point of being threatening, and that's why he got such bad responses.
