I have been searching and calling around for some time and am willing to go anywhere in Colorado. The Dr.s I have called that are on the Vivitrol list handle court ordered patients only.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't help with Colorado, but are you willing to order them yourself? That's what most of us here have done.

No, actually. It's not a scheduled substance in the USA.

Most of us order from River Pharmacy or All Day Chemist. They're reliable and trustworthy folks.

River Pharmacy gives you the NoDict brand by default, and some people find that brand ineffective, so ADC is probably the best bet overall even though they cost a bit more.

You don't have any liver problems, do you? If you have any trouble with your liver, you'll want to talk a doctor into giving you a liver checkup. Nal is processed through the liver, and people who have trouble with their livers usually want to use one of the alternative opioid blockers.

If anyone does know of a Dr. in Colorado I would still like to know. I would save a pretty good amount of money by being able to get Naltrexone through my insurance.

Mountain View Family Medicine, Doctor Carrie (last name used to be Adamson, but no longer, I just call her Doctor Carrie).

She is in Fort Collins. She will want to know that you are working a program or seeing a therapist or at least that you have a good support system. She will work with you on choosing a medication option that is right for you. She MAY want to have a long-term patient-doctor relationship first. I am not sure. I've been seeing her for a while and found her to be a non-judgemental and compassionate doctor that will work with your needs and not just dictate.
