I ordered NAL from alldaychemist.com on April 27th and received it May 7th ....wow! pretty fast!

I started yesterday May 9th with 25mg and was very -extremely!- sleepy after my first sip!!! is that a common side effect??

My favorite wine is 14 Hands Chardonnay. It retails $10 a bottle, and I get a 10% discount for a case of 12. I keep an Aussie Chard. (Little Penguin) on hand so that after I've had a few, I can drink a half-way decent Chard w/o spending quite so much. Plus, I offer the LP to guests, as a rule. (I was going broke treating friends and family to my favorite expensive wines. Decided to get real. . .)

I placed an order from All Day Chemist (www.alldaychemist.com) on a Sunday--no prescription needed. It was ~$113 for 60 pills including shipping. Received the order in my mailbox on the following Wednesday, so it took 10 days. The package was shipped USPS, and tracking info was emailed to me every step of the way.

The only glitch was that they were unable to process credit cards at that time, so they requested that I send a check. However, by sending a check they gave a $5 discount on the price, so it came to $108. And it didn't slow the process down at all. As a matter of fact, I got the email requesting a check AFTER I received my order.

I was very pleased, and would definitely order from them again!

Yes, no prescription need it. Only answer a few question (for them to make a prescription, I think) and super fast shipping.

I have ordered pills in the past and received great service. My only complaint now (and concern) is that at this time alldaychemist cannot accept credit/debit card payment and is asking me to pay by check.

Other than that I would order again, now I am debating to order from them again or ask my doc and order here in the US. I feel somewhat reluctant to send a check outside the US without fully knowing this company.

You can always order online from River. It costs a little more, but you won't need to answer any questions, and you can pay by debit/credit card.

Noooooooo!!!!!!! Our supply was lost when my purse was taken, or I'd volunteer to send ya some. Thankfully Jake had a dozen in another bottle. Maybe someone here can help if you are running short. You sure don't need to be starting all over agin.

Hi, I'm new on this forum and I ordered Nal at All Day Chemist and it took three weeks to receive it. They allowed me to pay with my credit card (either that or Paypal, why can't I remember? Oh yes, the memory is going) My question is... did naltrexone make any of you nauseous? I just received it yesterday and took my first dose last night. My husband and I went out for Mexican food and I had two Dos Equis dark, my usual, and stopped on the way home to buy another six-pack, and before I was half-way through my third beer I could barely stand to drink it any more and thought I was going to throw up. In fairness, I didn't wait the whole hour before I drank (maybe 10 minutes) and so it may not have really kicked in until I was finished eating. I went to bed at 6 pm and slept mostly through the night, getting up to brush my teeth and take vitamins, etc. Still felt a bit nauseous this morning. I'm afraid to take another. One thing I forgot to mention is that I DID have a stomach flu bug earlier this week, a couple of days before taking the NAL. Did any of you experience nausea and keep taking it and get over it? I just wonder whether I should take it again or not. I have to say it felt worse than most hangovers. Thanks in advance for your help. DI

Thanks for the reply. I've got a TON of work to do today and I'm trying to juggle research at the same time. Maybe I'll have more time to read all the forum this weekend. Do you know where I might find the information about people's SEs from Nal on the forum? I scanned it before but wasn't exactly sure where I would find that. Yes, I'll have to give it more of a chance to work than 10 minutes, but to be honest, I'm going on this program without telling my husband about it. It's a long story which I'm sure to post on here one day soon, but I was having a difficult time getting the pill cut in half before we went to dinner without getting seen. It'll feel so good not to have to feel sneaky anymore one of these days.

Yes, nausea is a common side effect for a few days. Most of us started out on 1/2 dose (25 mg.), and did not increase until the nausea was gone. Also you MUST wait the hour before drinking! The Naltrexone won't help if it's not absorbed into your system. Under extreme duress, you can drink after 1/2 hour, but that should be only rarely.

Follow the rule: Naltrexone one hour b/4 drinking, every time - and you'll soon be an ex-alcoholic.

Don't you all just love that term? EX-alcoholic. . .we're X'ing out the addiction. Wheeeee!!!!!!

Thanks for your input! I don't really know anyone that would be on this forum that I would mind knowing my name. Just the same, from what I typed it's too hard to tell what my name really is (unless of course you already know it) So most everyone had nausea too... and didn't increase the dose until the nausea stopped? So then it's okay to take the 25-mg dose for longer than two days? Does it actually work at that dosage, and if it does, why do we bump it up to 50mg? Just wondering, it would certainly save me some money if I could cut all the pills in half. Thanks again!
