I have just joined this forum as I have finally accepted I have a drink problem and I want to cure it before it gets completely out of hand. It's already cost me my S.O. and I don't want to risk my health and profession any further.

I stumbled upon TSM through Claudia Christian on facebook.

So, I will read up on it a bit before going for it...

Oh, that sucks! Did you lose her because of your drinking?

I don't think it was the only reason but it certainly didn't help! Mood swings, temper etc - all manifestations of me drinking too much...

Welcome Michael. I also found out about TSM when I heard the tail end of an interview of Claudia Christian on the radio. I consider it a small miracle that I barely heard the interview but somehow glommed on to what she said. (I bought her book after which helped too.)

Nice to see another UKer on here.It's a good idea to read as much as you can before you get started. Obviously there's a lot of advice and information on here and I'd also recommend Dr. Eskapa's book if you haven't already got it.

I need to order my "meds" sharpish though as I'm off work for a couple of weeks and it will be a good window to receive them and give them a trial in case of side effects!

I should have asked you where you get your meds from, Ruth. ADC or River? Do you take Naltima? I have ben reading up on problems with Nodict...
