Last night i went to visit my friends. Took my NAL an hour before. Had 3 drinks and I was satisfied. Unheard of before. I am more or less 5 months on the TSM. In previous post
I told that I was drinking to go to sleep. Tonight I will not do that. I hope this is my new beginning. Thank you for listening and everybody's support and stories.

Dear Maggiemay,
I am sorry to hear about your hangover, For the past few years almost every day and I had a big one, sometimes visited the dark hole of drinking not to fell it for a while and waking up to even bigger nightmare. No I did not drink last night and won't be drinking tonight either, simply I did not buy vodka. But as you know this is just the beginning of a huge war. End of the week my husband is going to the conference outside of the country and kids are big so I can visit the dark place again, don't fell very strong at this point but I hope it is a good beginning.
Wishing you luck and I hope you fell better today and every day after that.
Erk.

I've been on TSM since the 3rd of September this year. Since then I have tried not to force myself to have AF days, rather let them happen when I don't feel like drinking - that way I can see how well TSM is working. Since I started I find I have had one AF day each week.

Hi DaveAus,
You obviously have a great start, congrats. I am back to some vodka at night. Less than before but no AF. To bad. But better than before. I woke up this morning (day off) with a hang over ( get them bigger on TSM) and just a short thought to get some more, but the urge was not as strong and I looked out the window and thought no I can face this day without a little helper. It is a hope for me. At the same time i don't believe in magic, I have to brake the habit and no pill will do that. Another thing is the kids! and husband they all want me to get better so I hide the booze and this is the hard part of my TSM. As I mentioned my husband is living for a few days but I have to keep the face for my kids ( big kids but very alert ) and here is the question would I be as strong if I could do whatever I want. My own answer is -I will be cured when nobody is watching and I am watching TV with tee in my hand or one drink after talking the pill.
Good luck to you it looks like your brain is starting to recognize the new way of thinking.
Erk

Have you read the book "Cure for Alcoholism: The Medically Proven Way to Eliminate Alcohol Addiction" by Dr Eskapa? It is all about TSM, and basically yes taking the pill one hour before drinking WILL cure you in time. Not magic rather proven science. In time the brain is returned to a time before the addiction was learnt. Some of the latest trials have had an 85% success rate.

The problem with me is I want things better now, I just have to accept that it takes time, for some people I read about two years!

I think she is talking about the residual habit, many of us found whilst Nal broke the physical dependency and cravings, we still drank out of pure habit "because it was something we did". Having had the cravings removed we then decided to try some enforced AF days which really speeded the process along.

Now fully in control, alcohol no longer bothers me. Chose to go AF from 22nd July 2013.
TSM set me free
