This is only my third day on Nal and don't know if this is just placebo or if this can actually work this fast. I feel just like I did years ago before having constant cravings. I go through my days and am not tortured by constant cravings. I go about my day and really am indifferent if I drink or not in the evening. I feel I need to to get this "cure" over and done with. In the past, if I drank for a day, I would wake up the following morning with nothing else on my mind but drinking. I have read that it takes at least 10 days before noticing any change. Anyone else experience this?

Hi and welcome!

That's a super-fast response, and how wonderful is that! Many experience a NAL honeymoon, so it may be partly that. Keep reading, following the protocol, and don't beat yourself up if you should find yourself slipping into old drinking habits.

It's all part of the process - glad you're doing so well so far!

Keep us posted.

Welcome! I have noticed an immediate change in my cravings when I drink. I don't feel the demand to immediately have another drink. I can't tell if my cravings are in general less because I still plan to drink so I can achieve extinction. I do think my cravings are less in general though.
