Greetings all,
After many failed attempts to reduce/eliminate consumption over the past 20+ years, I cannot express how excited I am to start the program.

Without getting into the history, yes, alcohol has been a problem and has touched my life in too many negative ways.

I have tried will power, counseling, vitamins and even Naltrexone about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, 10 years ago, I followed the standard protocol, one dosage in the morning, followed by working all day and having too many beer at night. Needless to say, it did not work.

I am a strong willed, determined individual who is outwardly successful, but I cannot express how much these demons have been haunting me. As such, my willingness and desire to start the program is finally giving me hope!

Next step is to find a practitioner who will subscribe naltrexone so I can continue my journey.

Looking forward to participating in the forums!

Gamber

Best of luck to you Gamber! I just started a week ago and am keeping my fingers crossed for myself and everyone here!

No, I ordered from alldaychemist.com I ended up having to call them and handle the order over the phone but it worked out fine.

Good luck!

OK, it has been months.

Ordered Nal from Naltrexone Global in Ireland. Was a TOTAL bust - however, thanks to Joanna at C3, we were able to get my money back - good news, and a special thank you to Joanna and Claudia.

Great news is that I was able to find Nal through GoldPharma. Very professional in fulfillment, able to ship to Canada, and fair pricing.

After Naltrexone Global, I almost gave up, good thing I didn't as my weekly consumption was increasing steadily as white knuckling was not working. I stopped logging in early October where I was in the 40 to 70 unit range with an AF or two a week.

It has been just under a week, and I have gone from likely 70+ to an anticipated 20 this week. Yes, I am experiencing the honeymoon effect, but wow, it is nothing for me to have only one beer and not care about a second, or little about finishing the first to be honest! Second beer has occurred where I have been politely sipping on it during holiday get togethers.

Great news gamber. Your brain may not need as much re-wiring. Applause!

Sounds like you're on the right track after a very frustrating start!

Be prepared from some ups and downs, this can be kind of a roller coaster at times........ :)
